Since Ohio has received over 571,000 COVID-19 vaccines, more permanent mass vaccine sites will open. The state receives shipments of all three approved vaccines – Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna. Note that in addition to the new vaccination sites, Ohio will also be opening a mobile clinic. The Ohio Nothern Mobile Clinic operates in Marion, Union, Logan, Wyandot, Crawford and Hardin counties; and the Ohio University Mobile Clinic operates among Meigs, Vinton, Lawrence, Washington, Perry and Morgan counties.

In order to receive the vaccine in Ohio, an appointment is required at all sites. You can do this at gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov or by calling 833-427-5634.

Below you can explore Ohio Mass Vaccination Sites and locations:

  1. Athens. This Mobile unit is operated by Ohio University and travels southeast Ohio between Lawrence and Meigs counties (on Tuesday). Every other Wednesday there are stops in Vinton County, Washington County on alternating Fridays, and also Perry or Morgan on select Saturdays.
  2. Ada. This mobile unit is also operated by Ohio University and roves through west-central and northwest Ohio. Ada travels between Wyandot and Marion on Tuesdays, Union County on Wednesdays, Hardin County on Fridays and alternating between Logan and Crawford on Thursdays.
  3. Chillicothe. Adena Paccar Medical Education Center has 2,500 doses every week. Located at 446 Hospital Road.
  4. Cincinnati. Congas Center at Xavier University has 5,000 doses per week and is located at 1624, Herald Ave.
  5. Cleveland. Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center (2000 E.) is open daily for a week.
  6. Columbus. The Celeste Center is located at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair (717 E. 17th Ave) and has 5,000 doses per week.
  7. Dayton. The Dayton Convention Center is located at 22 E. Fifth St. with 5,000 doses a week.
  8. Lima. Knights of Columbus (810 S. Cable Road) has a site operated by Allen County Public Health. 2,500 doses are available every week.
  9. Mansfield. These are mobile unit roves North Central Ohio.
  10. Marietta. Marietta Memorial Hospital is located at 401 Matthew St. and has 1,500 doses a week.
  11. Maumee. Lucas County Recreation Center has 5,000 doses a week and is located at 2901 Key St.
  12. Steubenville / St. Clairsville roves East Central Ohio.
  13. Tallmadge. Summit County Fairgrounds has 5,000 doses a week and is located at 229 E. Howe Road.
  14. Wilmington. Wilmington Air Park (at 1113 Airport Road) has 5,000 doses a week.
  15. Youngstown. Southern Park Mall at 7401 Market St., Boardman inside the former Dillard’s department store and has 2,500 doses a week.
  16. 16. Zanesville. Colony Square Mall located at 3575 Maple Ave inside the former Elder Beerman department store has 1,500 doses a week.

What should I bring with me to the vaccination appointment?

Even after you have made an appointment, you need to pay attention to what to take with you. Some vaccination sites ask for proof of identity or eligibility. Important! Officials recommend that you bring your driver’s license (or any other government-issued ID, such as password) that shows your name, age, and state of residence. Also you should bring your health insurance card (if you have one).

Please also note that you will not be charged. However, the vaccine provider may bill your insurer for the vaccinations.
